Bostik DUO-SIL Urethane Acrylic Sealant and Adhesive is a special urethane and acrylic emulsion formulated for the professional applicator. It can be used as an adhesive or caulking compound for commercial and residential construction.
Features
- As a caulking compound can be used to fill butt joints in vinyl, aluminum, and fiber cement siding, windows, doors, brick molding, countertops, and showers
- As an adhesive, it has a superior bond to most building substrates without the need for primer. DUO-SIL will adhere to wood, metal, gypsum board, vinyl board, cove base, molding and foam board
- DUO-SIL as an adhesive and caulking compound will not degrade Polystyrene foam bead board the way most solvent-based or plasticized sealants do
- Easy to apply (tooling not recommended)
- Excellent adhesion to most common building substrates
- Flexible and mildew-resistant
- Paintable after 1-2 hours
- Low VOC
- Will not crack or fade
- Non-hazardous and non-flammable
