Husqvarna® Large German Splitting Axe

Husqvarna Large German Splitting Axe

This heavy-duty axe delivers the extra weight and force to split larger pieces of wood without getting stuck. Ideal for hardwoods like beech, oak, and ash, the axe features a medium sharp, rounded edge. The 5.5 lb. axe head is made from forged steel that is hardened to stay sharp but is easy to re-sharpen. The 31″ ash wood handle offers a comfortable grip, and the upper end is painted orange for greater visibility. Includes cover made from reinforced textile material.
