Since carbon monoxide can’t be seen, smelled or tasted in the air, it is a leading cause of accidental poisoning deaths in America. This CO detector features a 2 AA battery operation with a slide-out battery door that gives immediate access to the batteries. An added safety feature makes it difficult to close the battery door without the batteries being installed. Plus, the inside cover of the battery door features a quick reference guide for what to do in case of an alarm. This easy to install alarm is ideal for all living areas of a house and has a 10-year life span.
