Ideal for continuous sampling or purging of groundwater wells, this pump can fit into a 2˝ dia. or larger well. The computer-engineered bottom debris screen separates debris from water and helps prevent damage to the pump motor. Constructed of PVC plastic and stainless steel, the sleek pump design minimizes well hang-ups. The pump can run continuously without cooling down and can even run dry for up to two hours without causing motor damage. The pump operates directly from a 12V car battery using the supplied alligator clip adapter or can be used with the Low Flow Sampling Controller to regulate flow.Capable of pumping up to 100´ from ground level. The Tornado is supplied with 110´ of heavy duty 10 gauge wire with a quick-connect adapter to connect to either the included alligator battery connectors for connection to a battery or to the optional Low Flow Controller (sold separately).
