Simmons Domestic 3′ Frost-Proof Yard Hydrant is a durable and reliable outdoor water supply system designed to prevent freezing in cold weather conditions. It features a 1-piece variable flow plunger with a large cushion-type seal, ensuring a positive shut-off even in the presence of foreign particles. The hydrant includes an automatic drain feature that opens to prevent freezing, helping to protect it during cold winters. For security, it has a tamper-proof lock that can be closed with a padlock or bolt through a hole in the link. This yard hydrant is constructed with a cast iron head and handle, and it has a 3/4-inch NPT (National Pipe Thread) inlet and a 1-inch galvanized steel pipe casting.
