Southwire 6/2 + 8/2 Gauge 4 Ft. 4-Conductor Range Cord is a replacement cord designed for use with electric ranges. It features four conductors, which means it has four wires inside – two 6-gauge wires and two 8-gauge wires. These wires are suitable for handling the electrical load required by electric ranges. The cord has a right-angle male cap, which allows for an easy and convenient connection to the range. The right-angle design helps to keep the cord closer to the wall and prevents it from bending or getting damaged. Additionally, the range cord comes with a strain relief, which helps to secure the cord and prevent excessive stress on the connection points. This range cord is intended for use with ranges that have a nominal 1-3/4 inch diameter connection opening. It provides a safe and reliable power supply to your electric range, ensuring proper functioning and safe operation. When installing or replacing a range cord, it is essential to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and safety recommendations to avoid any electrical hazards.
