This comprehensive kit will help you learn how to classify soil accurately, efficiently, and with reproducible results. Included are 5 soil samples (200+ ml each) that are calibrated using the Unified Soil Classification System and USDA textural classification. With these samples you’ll feel the contrast between Silt (ML), Lean Clay (CL), and Fat Clay (CH). Also learn to differentiate Well Graded Sand (SW) from Poorly Graded Sand (SP).
